Cambridgeshire Association of Approved Driving Instructors

CAADI is the local Association for Approved driving Instructors in Cambridge City and the surrounding County.

The Association was loosely formed in the late 1960`s but adopted its current format in the early 1970`s and has easily celebrated its 40 years anniversary.

Membership to the Association is open to fully qualified and Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) only.

CAADI members commit to provide the highest quality driving lessons in a pleasant and professional manner.

Members follow the DVSA Code of Conduct for driving Instructors.

Regular meetings are held covering teaching techniques, Road Safety, and other matters relating to driving tuition.

Membership of CAADI ensures an Instructor is committed to providing quality professional tuition to the highest standards. Our members attend regular meetings to keep up to speed with the latest news and developments in driver training. Work in co-operation with each other to ensure a high standard of driver training. We maintain and enhance the reputation, standing and the good name of the Association and it’s members by adopting the CAADI/DVSA Code of Conduct at all times.

Guest speakers from the driver training industry attend meetings regularly giving members up to date information. In addition to our CAADI members being fully up to date with current teaching techniques and legislation, we also have a very active representation on Cambridge’s Road Safety Advisory Council.

In short, we aim to provide the information and advice for our members to provide first rate driving tuition. Vitally, we see our task encouraging the growth and development of our members to teach their pupils to drive, not merely to pass the test.
